Jenny-Rulison Fisch ‘03

I am a lifelong resident of Fulton County. I graduated from Mayfield High School in 2002. During my senior year at Mayfield, I completed a full year of college at FMCC. I was Mayfield’s first full time early admission student.

I continued my degree at FMCC after high school graduation and graduated from FMCC with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration in 2003.

I then continued on to the University at Albany and completed my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I graduated from the University at Albany in 2005. The day after graduation I started my position at State Farm Insurance as a claim representative in the Malta operations center.

During my employment, State Farm offered a Masters program through Dowling College. I completed my Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in management and leadership in 2009.

I continued to work at State Farm in Malta from May 2005 to December 2014. In January 2015, I opened my own State Farm agency in Vails Mills attached to Fritz’s pizza. This coming year will be 10 years!

I have been an active member of the Amsterdam Rotary Club since 2016 and have been on the board since 2019. I am a past Chamber ambassador for FMRCC.

During my employment at State Farm, I completed three leadership speaking designations through Toastmasters International. I also completed my Associate in Claims through the Insurance Institute of America.

My husband, Aaron and I have been married for 12 years and we have a two year old son Everett John Fisch.

First car owned: 1986 Audi 5000CS that had no heat ! Black with leather interior.
First job: Babysitting 4 kids for $ 1/an hour each, so, $4/ hour
Pets and/or favorite animal: None
Favorite pastime/hobby: Crafting Something on your bucket list: I do not fly well, so visiting Europe if I can make it.
Something you do to unwind: Enjoy time with my family.
Person you most admire: Warren Buffet—still lives in the same house he bought in 1958. Even though he is a billionaire he still lives a simple life and I admire people who don’t act like they have a lot of money and are down to earth.
Most Interesting Person you’ve met: Not one particular person but my customers that have had a hardship in life and still able to persevere. I hear a lot of stories.
Favorite place to visit/vacation: Key West
Who or what did you want to be when growing up: Ballerina
Three things you MUST have if deserted on an island: Water, Food, Sunscreen
